Quality Assurance Officer & ADH License Worker

Description: As a QA Specialist you will be working primarily with the Direct Care team but will also be asked to review the work of the homes, in terms of cleanliness, organization and ensure files are up to date. Work well with the team members and communicate effectively by providing written descriptions, direction, and coaching. Always have a positive attitude with a solution-oriented mindset. Be organized and prioritize projects in a high-volume workflow.

As for Direct Care Services, you will primarily focus on updating both new and existing profiles, consents, ISPs, and medical appointments. Along with DCW responsibilities: coaching, daily functionalities, DDD guidelines and other possible issues. You will provide a list of corrections needed with various solutions for corrections and you will be responsible for providing clear and detailed notes on what is found, complete with notes and/or screen shots/photos when necessary.

Thoroughly inspect homes, books, and logs including but not limited to the following:

  • Basic functionality: confidentiality book, medication books, physical medications, daily books, and home quality
  • Design: Checking/updating member profiles and goals/programs
  • Responsiveness: Ensure that everyone understands what will need to be completed
  • Performance: Have the corrections been made with a reasonable time frame?
  • Accessibility: Does the home meet the DDD standards?

Other duties include:

  • Create and organize a schedule for Group Home and Day Treatment Program monitoring.
  • Keep self-informed of current expectations and requirements of DDD monitoring.
  • Implement quality assurance of all group homes and day programs using state format.
  • Ensure end of the month paperwork is calculated correctly and scanned into files.
  • Complete review of progress of member’s program goals and submit to the FTP system by the 5th of every month.
  • Manage ADH licensing, conduct home studies and ensure compliance with state.
  • Utilize and navigate expectations regarding Quick Connect
  • Complete Bi-monthly paperwork for all group homes
  • Supervise group home managers and oversee systems and compliance for Promise Land, Mercy and Carrie Houses.
  • Participate in all member’s PCSP meetings for homes supervised.
  • Check in daily with managers and ensure all incidents are reported to director within a timely manner and managers are submitting all information necessary for IR.
  • Participate in on call responsibilities within rotation of other directors.

Thoroughly reviewing the scope of development against actual development of work being completed to ensure all aspects of quality are met. Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
