HR specialist

  • Check new hires intake paperwork submitted by recruiting specialist for GH and DTA orientation.
  • Prepare state paperwork the week before for GH and DTA orientation.
  • Fill out state required forms with applicants the day of orientation.
  • Make sure new hires make necessary corrections on orientation training documents.
  • Check new hires Group Home/DTA orientation packets.
  • Coordinate with the GH/DTA orientation facilitator to have orientation paperwork signed and turned in the same day of orientation.
  • Enter new GH and DTA new hires into the Paycom system have the logins ready for the orientation facilitator.
  • Send an updated email with new hire contact information to all parties.
  • Assign new hires timecards to the pertaining director.
  • Submit new hires to the following systems: Az New Hire, I-9 verification, OIG’s and SAMS, central registry, and APS the day of orientation. File in the proper folders.
  • Follow up with CBC submission and results-same day of orientation.
  • Create new hire file (Same day)
  • Turn in employee file to HR director the same day.
  • Prepare daily orientation packets for new hire applicants for Group home and DTA.
  • Follow up in a timely manner with any orientation corrections/ missing information.
  • Turn in file for system input.
  • Prepare orientation packets/cover sheets/member orientations for Group Home and DTA orientation.
  • Coordinate reviews with the director and CEO, send calendar invites, schedule review times with staff/upper management.
  • Send email out to managers requesting review sheets with employees first, last name and hire date. Prepare review sheets for directors with pay rate/write ups/trainings the day of reviews.
  • Notarize criminal affidavit for employee files
  • Follow up with employment verifications within 24 hrs.-48 hrs.
  • Create verification/offer letters for employees when requested within 24 hrs-48 hrs.
  • Update matrix as needed with documents turned in by staff, i.e. ID’s, DL’s, FC’s, driving records, etc. and file.
  • Fact Findings-scan and email requested documents.
  • Work side by side with the owner of the company regarding yearly incentives.
  • Add incentives before payroll is processed.
  • Verify and enter retro pay distribution.
  • Request and process position change forms for pay rate changes, position changes, and f/u with personal action form in Paycom to update changes.
  • Communicate with the Paycom specialist about anything that has to do with Payroll.
  • Escalate Paycom issues staff or managers have.
  • Answer ASK HERE inquiries.
  • Distribute paper checks when needed.
  • Add training times into Paycom.
  • Convert staff from 1099 to W2 after 90-day review/Send email update with new logins to Manager.
  • Approve timecards every Monday before payroll is run.
  • Handle labor law claims.
  • RUN OIGS’ and SAMS monthly for active employees.
  • Run fingerprint card verifications every six months.
  • 401 K management

  • ACA filing
