Pay:
$15.00 plus $2 incentive for every hour worked until the end of January 2025
- Facilitates the admission and discharge of residents
- Complies with house schedule, rules, policies, and procedures
- Assists in the self-administration of medication
- Responsible for conducting community meetings and groups
- Responsible for implementing the daily activity and house schedules
- Transport residents to scheduled program activities, events, outings, medical/dental appointments, local agencies as deemed on their treatment plan and when applicable unscheduled activities/events
- Responsible to participate and provide oversight in all transportation venues
- Responsible for the safety of the residents and the house
- Responsible for documenting daily progress notes when applicable
- Responsible for protecting resident rights, confidentiality of the resident and medical record
- Notify manager in the event of a safety and clinical issue requiring immediate attention
- Responsible to ensure residents follow their individual daily schedule and when indicated assist with their daily living tasks
- Assisting residents in exercise/wellness activities such as walks in the neighborhood
- Assisting residents in daily living skills when applicable
- Knowledge of CPR as event by annual training documentation
- Knowledge of First Aid
- Responsible for implementing the Safety/Disaster Plan when applicable
- Responsible for completing an Incident and Accident Report when indicated
- Responsible for successfully completing job specific and annual trainings as indicated in the Training Plan
- Responsible for abiding by the Code of Ethics, conduct business in a professional matter
- Responsible for providing at least two-week notice requesting vacation time
- Responsible for calling in sick 8 hours prior to scheduled time to work
- Responsible for working out schedule changes
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have or must be able to obtain a level 1 fingerprint clearance card
- 1 or more years of experience in this position or related field recommended however willing to train
- Driver’s license Recommended but not required
- Must be at least 18 years of age or older
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test where applicable
- Ability to speak, read and write English proficiently
- Ability to learn prevention and support methods and implement them
- Ability to learn how to administer medication
- Ability to pass all required training
- Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical activities
