DTA/DTT Direct Care Worker 11a-7p

Mon- Fri 11a-7pm

Pay rate: $17/hr.

Responsibilities

• Must possess and maintain a current AZ Driver’s license and are responsible to report any changes in their driver status if/when applicable.
• Responsible for picking up and dropping off all members.
• Drivers are responsible for completing documentation in and out of the facility, member logs, mileage logs and communication logs.
• Must be able to always multitask.
• Must be organized in all aspects of their job.
• Drivers will be staff for members and are expected to maintain ratio while being a driver.
• Will be assigned a morning and mid-day run and be expected to drive on outing days.
• Will be assigned a phone and a van and will be responsible for the assigned items each day.
• Must be able to maintain good communication with schools and guardians for pick up and drop off changes, current events etc.
• Must maintain professionalism while conducting a vehicle for AZ Dream Team on and off the road.

Requirements

• Must have or must be able to obtain a level 1 fingerprint clearance card.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• 1 or more years of experience in this position or related field recommended however willing to train.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test where applicable..
• Ability to speak, read and write English proficiently.
• Ability to learn prevention and support methods and implement them.
• Ability to learn how to administer medication.
• Ability to pass all required training.
• Ability to lift 50lbs and perform physical activities..
